Foodies of TN is a Nashville-based 501(c)(3), started by a Tennessee foodie who wanted to help the restaurants he loves.
We publish an annual summary of funds received, grants awarded, and the regions served, so you can see where the money went.
When James, the founder of Foodies of TN, lived in Texas, he had a burger-themed specialty plate, and people loved it. Drivers waved at him in traffic, and strangers would stop him in parking lots to talk about it.
After he and his wife moved back to Tennessee, he wanted to bring that idea here and use it to help the independently owned restaurants he loves, since a lot of them run on thin margins. Foodies of TN is the result. It's a specialty plate for Tennessee drivers, and its net revenue will fund grants for local restaurants.
